This 2015-2016 school years marks my 20th year of teaching high school science and my 6th year at Chaffey High School. I started my teaching career at Barstow High School. I later became part of the staff at Etiwanda High in the Chaffey District and recently transferred to CHS.
Before I became a teacher, I was a laboratory researcher in the area of Immunology for approximately 10 years. I enjoyed doing research but did not like looking for new employment once grants funding the research ended. I am a graduate of UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Microbiology. I also have a master's degree in Information Systems Management from DeVry University. I also have an associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising. I have a variety of interests and consider learning new things an obligation as well as a privilege. There are so many things yet to be discovered that we should never limit ourselves or the possibilities. |
